I actually completed this at the end of last summer but I guess I am just now purging blog posts. :) I video-documented it too, but it won’t upload onto YouTube, so you’ll just have to take me at my word.
It wasn’t as difficult or time-consuming as I thought! Of course I made (tons of) mistakes along the way, but in the end, no one died of botulism or food poisoning, which is an incredible win! And 20 pounds of home-grown Roma tomatoes did not go to waste, but were enjoyed all throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Another win!
Will I do this again?? You betcha!! Unfortunately, our Roma tomato crop this year was kind of sucky, but we will try again next year. Or maybe later if our peach tree makes enough peaches!
